Shaun Pejic is coming up to making his 150th appearance for Wrexham and has recently been made captain which is a fantastic achievement considering that Shaun is only 24 .
Shaun sat on the table with the committee members and took questions from floor and gave some insight in to how the players were coping with yet more upheaval at the club,they were all surprised at Denis Smith and Kevin Russell's sacking and were pleased that both of them came in to explain what had happened the day after.
The players are as disappointed as the fans at being down at the bottom of the table and are determined to start getting some points.
On being made captain Shaun was really pleased to have the opportunity to run out at the Racecourse wearing the armband and got a huge buzz from it , he liked the added responsibility and said that it would hopefully make him a better player.Shaun also revealed that his biggest critic was his Dad.
He also said that the players were well aware of the fans desire to do well in the local derby and that no extra preparation was needed as the atmosphere was all that was needed to get the players going.
Shaun stayed on to make the raffle prize draw for us after which the chairman thanked him for his time and he received a warm round of applause.
