Minutes of March meeting of ‘Buckley & District Reds’

Meeting held 11th March at Buckley Cricket Club.

Minutes of previous meeting read & agreed as accurate (T.W. / J.O.)

 

Dave read the Treasurer’s report. We have £1434 in our account at present.

 

1.The ‘Hospitality Box draw’ was discussed. Extra tickets were sold on the night & it was explained to members what the day involves. The draw is to take place on the evening of 13th March.

 

2.The ‘Player of the Season’ presentation is to be held on Sunday 10th May (at Lion Quay’s we think, but not confirmed).Names have started to be taken & we discussed how to hold our own ballot / buy tankard,etc.

 

3.The annual 8 a side tournament is to be held on the morning of the Weymouth match.  It is envisaged that we will enter one team this year and Daz Jones is to be contacted to hopefully, organise training/selection.

 

 

FUNDRAISERS
The next ‘Forecast’ is to be held over the weekend of 21st March.
The £150 raised from the previous forecast is ring fenced for the WSF in their attempt to raise £5,000 for C of E.

 

WSF / WST News
Tony attended the recent WSF meeting and reported back on the many issues discussed.
